Bellow is a copy of the latest chapter in this scammers scheme to defraud. I send this letter as an example of how subtle these scammers are. Hello my dear xxxxx, Why don't you want to see me and can't help. Please, think well, such a chance can be only once in the life. Sorry, the last time I was so excited about the news that I gave you a short information. But now I'll try to explain you everything. The tour to Philadelphia (I don't know where it is. Is it far from you?) will be from the 28th of August to the 25th of September. The best student of Minsk State Linguistic University will come to the USA to perfect their knowledge of English and to teach the customs and traditions of the USA. It's something like the students exchange. All the students will live in the families, but all that period I'll manage to spend with you. I will not be a member of this tour, for me it's only the chance to receive the student's visa and come to you. As soon as I pay for the tour they give me the schedule of the flight. Now I only know that I will fly by Lufthansa company. I must pay for the tour to the University myself and they will organize all the papers. The sum is really high and without your help I will not manage to pay. My parents can give me only the half (They can't give me more, because I will need some money for the preparation also.) So, if you can help me the best chance to send me the money through the Western Union on my name (My full name is Aliona Kuchynskaya.) The implication seems to be that there is more than one scammer at work. It seems as if one scammer writes the first few "sincere-sounding" letters, while another, more experienced, and better educated scammer steps in for the "kill" or the actual solicitation for money. There is a very pretty scammer in "Afrointroductions" (www.afrointroductions.com) asking for money under the pretense of "being together". The young ladies name or alias is "Aliona", and her member number is 12290. She claims to be from Belarus. ***************************** I must admit that with so many photos of Aliona, that I thought she was for real. I would add that this letter was in perfect English while all the previous letters were in broken English. Hello my dear xxxxxx, How are you? I am fine. Today I have an interesting news to tell you. Wow, I am so excited that I even don't know from what to start!!!On this weekend I met with my aunt (she is my mother's sister). She was very much interested in my personal life and we talked a lot about you, about our correspondence. She is a very nice, intelligent woman and she works as a dean at one of the Universities in Minsk. She loves me like her own daughter. She was so happy that I have met you and she proposed to help us to meet. She told that at the end of August will be the student's tour to the USA and she proposed me to join to this tour. Can you imagine??? I have not still believed. :))She told that it's not so easy to receive a visitor's visa to the USA, so it's the best chance for me to come and see you. The tour will be for a month and all this period I'll manage to be with you. I can't believe!!! It'll be a good chance to check our feelings and to make the plans for the future.
