I met Elena at an agency,
"Angels from Russia" Now apparently
out of business. I first wrote to her in
May of 2001. We exchanged letters and
then I traveled to Nikolaev in August
of 2001 when we met for the first time.
We began our relationship and I
traveled to Nikolaev again in December
2001. I asked her to marry me and she
said yes.

She then began constantly asking for
money for her support, food, clothes
ect. I gladly sent her money because I
expected her to be my wife in a few months. We began the paperwork for the K1 visa. When it came time for her to travel to Warsaw for the interview, she kept missing appointments for various reasons. he r purse was stolen or her sister was in an accident. She missed a total of 6 appointments all for various reasons which I later learned were all lies.

Meanwhile I learned that she was writing to other man while engaged to me. She promised to marry at least one other man! I found letters which she had left out in plain site. She was taking money from a man confined to a wheelchair.

Meanwhile she continued to take money from me with the assurance that we would be married soon. She always asked me to forgive her and to trust her but I kept on losing more and more money. It was finally obvious to me that it was all a scam.

The grandfather said that she asked to excuse her and said that tomorrow she would be waiting for me. I think that she will not let me down.
