The agency is not a scam agency the women are real and they are writing the correspondance, but this woman is. I came across an agency in Kharkov Ukraine called Gateway 2 Heart. I thought it would be better to use an agency in which the owner knew the girls personally instead of just buying an address from a large agency. The only problem is that scammers can infiltrate any agency and it is somewhat difficult for an agency to protect against the smarter scammers. I communicated by email with this woman for several months before I decided to take the trip over. She was insistent that we should meet in Kiev instead of Kharkov. Why? I will never know, but she was hiding something. I could tell from the nervous tone in her voice when I asked her why she wanted to meet in Kiev. Being somewhat nieve at the time, I let it go and figured she might not want her friends to ask questions. She met me at the airport and took me to my apartment. I rented a seperate one for her and her mother. Every night once we were alone she would get upset about something completely irrational and then ask me to walk her home-clever ploy to avoid getting too intimate. Then, the day before she was leaving to go back to Kharkov she took me out for some expensive gift buying. She wanted a nice pair of earings and some cosmetics. I thought this was somewhat rude, specially since I had already bought her some silk scarves, a sweater, and some perfume from USA. I bought the earings which cost a little over $130. Then the next day before she was leaving I gave her about $200 more for the trip back to Kharkov. We took some pictures and agreed to file for the Fiance Visa. Then, when I asked if she had her passport she said," no I left it at home." She told me she would send me the info. When I returned home from Kiev she wrote me an angry email claiming I didn't love her because I had not sent her any money yet. Keep in mind this was less than two weeks after I had given her $200. When I called her, she claimed the same crap. She told me that all the women at her agency receive at least $500 a month from their fiance when they are waiting for their fiance Visa to be approved. She told me that her last Fiance had sent her this amount. Then, she told me that she wouldn't send me her passport info unless I started sending her a monthly allowance. At this point I knew she was a scammer and would only use me until the Visa was approved and then she would break off the relationship. She also tried to emotionally blackmail me by telling me she needed money because her boss didn't pay her enough. She claimed she asked him for a raise and he told her, if you want a raise then you have to sleep with me. I thought this was strange because when I was in Kiev she told me the exact opposite. She told me she knew of some girls who wanted to get promoted and they did whatever it takes, but she claimed she would quit her job if it ever came to that. She came up with a lot of creative reasons why I "must" send her money. But, the main one was if I really loved her I would send her money. At this point I informed the agency and asked them to remove her. They talked to her, but she is a good liar and talked her way out of it.
