I was contact by Natalya Schukina around January 2004 on www.love.com
and after many e-mails and Yahoo messenger conversations it finally ended
in July 2004.  Natalya portrayed herself as a poor country girl who worked at
a small sporting goods store in a small town near the city of Yoshkar-Ola in
Russia.  Her dream was to become a school teacher and work with kids but
in Russia, teachers made very little money so she could not afford to work
in this profession.  So with a father who had died of a heart attack and a
mother who was very old and living with a relative she had to take a job at
the sporting goods store and was living in a youth hostile.  She did fall in love
very quickly in her letters and I thought this was out of desperation to find
someone and leave her country.  I would ask her questions in my emails to her and most of the time I would receive in return these long drawn out emails with poems and descriptions of our love.  Usually she would attach a picture.  When I expressed my suspicion in a few emails, it must have gotten her attention and she adjusted her tactics.  She would ask specifically to tell me more details about my life and even asked about my past relationships.  If I told her anything personal it would spark her interest even more and she made up some story about a past love.   Finally she asked several times to meet and I would not really reply and just make conversation and told her one day we would meet.   Finally she lost her patience and said she was leaving the job she hated and her miserable life and going to Moscow to get her visa.  I sent her money for the visa and she said she got it.  Now she wanted money for a ticket and she had warned me how much these things would cost.  I have attached the letter she first sent where she asks for money and describing all the costs.  I gave her the money for the visa and I bought her the ticket in the form of an e ticket so I did not have to send her money.  By this time we where talking via yahoo messenger.  See below.  She really wanted to buy the ticket herself and it took a lot of explaining how an e-ticket works before she gave up trying to get me to send her the money.  Now she claimed that she went back to the US embassy in Moscow and they told her she needed to carry through US Customs $80 a day for each day she would be staying in the US.  She was also working with a Nikolay at the embassy who was helping her get the tourist visa.  I have attached our messenger conversation.  I looked at the US embassy website and even called the embassy.  I told her she did not need this kind of money but she would not take no for an answer and insisted the embassy told her she had to have this money as a living wage.  After finally sending her the money, I got suspicious and did a yahoo search and her name came up at http://www.datingscam.net/lblacklist/g27-6.html.  I could not find her anywhere else.  I showed her what I have found and she did not flinch.  She lied and said she had corresponded with the guy who reported her but she rejected him and how he did this to her.  She did not flinch.  Then she said she went back to the embassy to tell them what had happened and now the embassy required her to have a fiancée visa to enter the US and that would cost more.   I paid for it and when she was supposed to leave she later claimed she had tried to take an artifact she did not know has valuable through Russian customs and they detained her for it.  She had to go to court and pay a lawyer and the next time she got on the plane they detained her again because this Nikolay who got here the visa was under suspicion for making out a fraudulent visa.  That is where things had ended.  I have included a picture, email addresses she is currently using and a couple of letters.  Please do not send this woman any money.
