I have been to FSU many times now and I have avoided several scams. The old belief that a Tourist Visa is unobtainable by a scammer may not be so true anymore. Olga contacted me on MerryDating.com and wrote me very pleasant letters. At one point she matter-of-factly mentioned that she had a valid B1/B2 U.S. Visa that was about to expire. I sensed a scam and I challenged her to scan it and send it. She quickly complied and I have attached her valid Visa, (I have sources) and some photos. Of course I still got scammed for airfare and she quickly disappeared after receiving money. I was informed by MerryDating.com that several young ladies pulled same scam with apparent like Visa's. Apparently our fine embassy in Moscow is now "selectively" providing Visa's. Unfortunately we all now that its all business when it comes right down to it. By the way, they did not respond to my complaint in any form. |
