First, I must apologize for not sending this information sooner. I was in the middle of a scam - one which may or may not be worse than most because the scammer used a webcam. The webcam technology is new to me. I don't have a webcam and I don't have any special software to use with webcams, so I was surprised when "Alex" offered to put her webcam shot up on my computer. She did this through Yahoo! Instant Messenger, which provides all the capabilities for this to be possible. I was amazed that it could be done! I thought - what a great concept - until I verified by "Alex's" requests that she was trying to extort money from me! Now, with a webcam to allow men to "know" her better and believe she is more real than just an email, I think more men will fall victim to the scammers with webcams. DON'T SEND MONEY!!! I now question even the $20 - $30 per month for letter translations and will never buy flowers or other gifts because the photos they "take" of the women with their flowers "from you" are sometimes just old photos of the woman with other flowers already received.
