| Scammers Many of the ladies you will meet on line are beautiful, smart and talented women, who are truly looking for the right man to be in their lives. Some are NOT !! These are the ones we will talk about. These ladies will show you respect and attention and accept expensive gifts if you offer them and if you don't offer they might suggest an item they would like to own to get you to purchase it for them. Of course you may oblige thinking why not, they will be with me forever, wrong!! You will probably be able to spot these scammers right from the start if you are going in with your eyes open and watching for the signs. |
| * These girls fall in love with you very fast and want to be with you as soon as they can be ( even if you are a great guy it's too fast) * They want you to talk to them and only them, and no other ladies you may have been corresponding with before. * For your meetings with her she might want to arrange everything, asking you to send money so she can have lodging and transportation taken care of before you arrive. * She might ask for money to pay for her internet so she can correspond with you, maybe help out with rent or regular house hold bills. * You might see her asking for money to help with a sick mother or child, or she is having other money problems, and she can turn to only you for help as she knows you love each other and are meant to be together soon. * If you can't send the money right away, you don't love her and were only playing her and now she is heart broken and can't trust men again becuase you are all the same. * She avoids direct questions about her personal life, where she lives, home address, phone number, place of employment. * When you do meet (if things go this far) she wants to go to expensive places to eat, high class night spots, theatre or some other unusually expesive event or entertainment. * If you see that she gets angry or mad at the slightest thing that you do that does not please her, or at any other of life's simple little irritants. * That after you travel possibly thousands of miles to be with her, you almost have to make an appointment to spend time with her. Or she stands you up, or puts off your meetings until she has time to see you. This is not something that a perspective wife would ever want to do to damage your relationship. |
| The main thing to watch out for is them asking you for money very soon into your correspondence. This is something that is not normal. Yes things are hard for women in these countries, and yes they may have money problems, but they are not usually going to ask you for money. Granted after you do correspond for a while you might offer to help with internet cafe expenses, or even other minor costs that arrise. This would come after building some type of relationship with the lady, which would also include talking on the phone, and maybe even meeting in person. Meeting is suggested to take place in the first few months (3 or 4) because you can't build a proper relationship and never meet. |
